Craft Restoration Services Inc. was established in 1975 by the late Peter Holmes and is now owned by his nephew and former business partner, Grant Noble.  The parent company was incorporated in 1975 by Peter Holmes.  He was joined later by partner David Smith, hence the name Holmes & Smith Ltd.  The business was immediately successful and found continued achievement in the industry.  After many years in the restoration business, David retired in 2014.

Holmes & Smith Ltd. has since changed its name and is now operating as Craft Restoration Services Inc.  Grant joined the Craft team in 2001.  Prior to immigrating to Canada, he worked for a builder in England and became well versed in all aspects of construction and project management.  In Canada, Grant completed the “Part 9-Building Code Program” and IICRC Certifications before becoming a partner in the business.  His background includes hands-on supervisory experience in the cleaning and restoration field as well as estimating and project management.  Grant continues the old school service that Peter and Dave created; one that Craft has been known and respected for, for over 40 years.
